Good morning, today is Tuesday and you're reading Shakai's LJ *insert catchy feem toon*
So, what's on my mind right now?
Well first thing's first. Tonight is the double bill of the new Prison Break! OMGNFW!!!1!!!11ZOMG!!1 In which something is going to happen which is going to be 9 kinds of awesome, but I don't want to say in case you don't want to spoiled (is the correct term spoilered or spoiled?) (come to think of it, the word spoil loses all meaning the more times you say it spoil, spoiler, spoiling, spoiled, spoilered, spoilering, spoiling, spoilspoil. *giggle*
The other thing on my mind is HEROES NEW ESIPODE! Where Peter and Caitlin are in... *dramatic pause* The Future! And the promo shows Peter taking a shower in which, judging by his angry shouty pain face, looks to be made of acid. *dons Hazmat suit and goes to hug Peter*
Also? Also also also! I've just come back from a weekend away to Blackpool with Elle and family. It was wonderful in that we got to watch cheesey cabaret, go to the pleasure beach (alas poor Elle's phone, we hardly knew you) and go to a four storey tall PRIMARK and sleep. Unfortunately though, Elle's little sister wasn't too good in that she was being sick all saturday night which was worrying, and then Elle felt ill all Sunday day, and Sunday night my immune system gave in and I too, fell to the damn bug. ~Cue throwing up all Sunday night~ So yesterday was pretty much one big unconscious sleepy blur *sigh* Although I did manage to watch Supernatural and what did I think of it?
Not much really. I mean, it was great that the boys were back together again *squee* but there wasn't any whumpage or drama or angst... Except for the fabulous screaming argument they had in the car, which went a little like this.
Sam: We can kill the crossroads demon with the colt!
Dean: No!
Sam: It's like you want to die!
Dean: If we screw with the deal you die!
Sam: And if we don't you die!
Dean: I said no and that's final.
Sam: You're not dad!
Dean: No, but I'm older so what I say goes.
Sam: *sulks*
Shakai: ♥♥♥
Oh Dean, you should know from years of experience that pulling the older card will only work temporarily. Sooner or later the younger sibling will get over the original fear and go ahead and do it anyway.
Oh look, Sam are you summoning the crossroads demon? Yes I think you are! *hugs* *feels smug that I totally saw that coming despite knowing spoilers for this episode anyway*
And oh, the crossroads demon was Jared's girlfriend! ♥ x a million! Although I didn't think she pulled off being the Xroads demon as well as the second one did, she was too smiley and the intonation on the words wasn't the same, but then she began with the taunting of Sam and I totally forgave her all her previous shortcomings. *nudges Sam and Xroads demon together so they can smooch*
And then!!!!!! And then she told us that there was a higher up and Sam goes "humm" with his lowered gun, calculates whether it would be worth shooting her, pauses, and then does it anyway!!! Oh Sam, you did not just shoot the woman of your alter ego's dreams. JPad's going to be sleeping on the couch for a week now, due to all the mess the blood and brain matter on the pillow will do to his hair. *sigh*
And that was the END! I don't know what's going to happen next, whether or not there's going to be Dean Angryage, Sam deathage, or whether the show will just brush it under the rug for now and then explode it in our boys faces further down the line.
OMG! (not a good omg, but a bad one.) perhaps an OMFG would work better...
OMFG! I've just found out some horrible horrible news.
Flicking through some Heroes spoilers (spoilers are my oxygen. The potential whumpage in episodes to come for bother SPN, PB and Heroes are ginormous!) I stumbled across this (not a plot related spoiler)
" Heroes' second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the writers' strike. Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current "Generations" arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted, the alt ending would likely be scrapped."
Please please please show writers, please stop striking and come back to work. The fans appreciate you so much! We really do! Society would not function without these teevee shows in our lives!
(I wonder... what did I ever talk about before I discovered Supernatural and Heroes and then Prison Break? *shrugs*) (I also wonder, I really need to cut down on using brackets.)
...Do the Kirby Dance!
<('.'<) (^'.'^) (>'.' )> (^'.'^) <('.'^) (^'.')> (^'.'^) <( '.' )>
Yes, I admit. I am kinda bored, but now you must admit... the Kirby dance is cool!
I'm going to go now... and do something... (go on a spoiler hunt... But will I choose SPN? Heroes? or PB?)
Much Soap and Swishes
